Thank you for visiting our tribute page for Dennis H. Backhaus who recently lost his battle to MDS, a rare form of leukemia. Dennis gave blood at every opportunity he could for the majority of his life, until he was unable to in July of 2023, when he found out he couldn’t, which led to the discovery of the MDS.
Our family is requesting memorials be directed to honor his memory to help improve the lives of people affected by leukemia who require blood transfusions to maintain a chance at a normal life. We would love your support as we bring our vision to life. Please support us today.
