Blood Saves Lives - Montana Red Cross Biomedical Expansion

Donate To This Campaign

The Red Cross is making a substantial investment in Montana by renovating the current Red Cross Biomedical and Humanitarian Services facility located in Great Falls and expanding our site in Bozeman. Each location will offer a new, state-of-the-art Blood Donor Center, as well as creating innovative office, training, and convening spaces for our Disaster Services and Services to the Armed Forces operations. This extensive renovation project will improve efficiencies, provide a better experience for blood donors and disaster relief clients, and contribute to significant advancement in the blood collection process.

Your support today will help us make these critical and life-saving improvements while giving you the opportunity to leave a lasting impact in Montana.

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs lifesaving blood. The American Red Cross helps meet this constant demand by providing about 40% of the country’s blood supply. The Great Falls facility is one of the largest Red Cross manufacturing and distribution centers of blood products in the country, providing over 16,000 units of lifesaving blood, platelets and plasma to our hospital partners each year.

The Red Cross Expansion Campaign financially ensures that we have the tools and resources to continue providing lifesaving blood to those who need it, a safe and private place for disaster clients to receive the comfort and care they need and an innovative convening area for preparedness training and service projects.
