The Measles & Rubella Initiative (M&RI) – led by the American Red Cross, the United Nations Foundation, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, UNICEF and the World Health Organization – is working with countries, partners and parents to create a world free from measles and rubella.

Utah & Nevada Region Youth Services Volunteers of the Red Cross have chosen to support the Measles & Rubella Initiative. An end to measles and rubella is within sight, but it is not guaranteed.
