The Measles & Rubella Initiative (M&RI) – led by the American Red Cross, the United Nations Foundation, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, UNICEF and the World Health Organization – is working with countries, partners and parents to create a world free from measles and rubella.

This March, members of the Cape Fear Red Cross Club have chosen to support the Measles & Rubella Initiative. An end to measles and rubella is within sight, but it is not guaranteed. To reach the ambitious goal of eliminating these diseases, we are seeking committed donors to stand with us. It takes just $2 to protect a child from measles and rubella for life.
