Clovis Chamber of Commerce is partnering with American Red Cross of Central Valley to save lives. Please join us on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at The Woods Mobile Home Park, 1001 Sylmar Ave, Clovis, CA 93612. 

Home fires claim seven lives every day, but having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half. As a responder to these local tragedies, the American Red Cross wanted to do more. That's why we launched our Home Fire Campaign in 2014 and began knocking on doors. We call this year-round canvassing effort Sound the Alarm. The impact of this initiative is profound. In just eight years, Sound the Alarm has helped save over 1,500 lives -- and counting.

  • $100 Safe House - Provides the installation of up to 4 smoke alarms for a ONE family's home ($22 covers the fire safety training and installation of one smoke alarm).
  • $500 Beat the Street - Provides the installation of up to 4 smoke alarms for SIX  families' homes ($22 covers the fire safety training and installation of one smoke alarm).
  • $1,000 Rock the Block - Provides the installation of up to 4 smoke alarms for TWELVE families' homes ($22 covers the fire safety training and installation of one smoke alarm).
