Every day, the Red Cross helps people facing emergencies, big and small. When a family is devastated by a home fire, we provide shelter, food and more. But before any of this can happen, our volunteers must travel there. To do this, we rely on our fleet of disaster emergency vehicles that are vital to fulfilling our mission. Each of our disaster emergency vehicles travels about 6,700 miles a year and many will soon need to be replaced.
